Aerial yoga
Aerial yoga is a unique practice that combines strength, flexibility, and fluid movement with the support of a hammock. Suspended above the ground, your body is given the opportunity to move with less compression and more freedom - allowing you to explore postures in a completely new way.
The hammock acts as both support and challenge: it helps you access deeper stretches, safely build strength, and experience lightness in your body.
One of the most transformative aspects of aerial yoga is spinal decompression. Inversions and supported poses create space in the spine, release tension, and bring a sense of ease that is difficult to achieve in traditional practice.
Aerial yoga is also a powerful tool for personal growth. Facing the natural fear that comes with being suspended in the air helps you release mental blocks and build trust in yourself and your body. Each new movement challenges your brain to create new neural connections, enhancing coordination and focus.
About me
I'm a yoga teacher based in Lisbon, with over 15 years of consistent practice - no breaks, no shortcuts. I know what real, long-term transformation looks like.
I fell in love with aerial yoga more than ten years ago and became one of the first to teach it in Lisbon. Since then I've guided many students into their first inversion - and watched fear turn into freedom.
In my classes the hammock is never about performance. I hold a calm, supportive space where you build strength and trust at your own pace, safely held every step of the way.
